The U.S. Presidential Inauguration is typically held every four years on January 20 (postponed to the next day if it falls on a Sunday). This year, Sunny and David Yang, devoted Trump supporters from Atlanta, made a special trip to Washington, D.C. to witness this historic moment in person, while many others chose to stay local and watch the live broadcast.

This year’s Presidential Inauguration Ceremony officially began at 11:30 a.m. Dignitaries—including members of Congress, former presidents, Supreme Court justices, and other political figures—arrived one after another, creating a solemn and grand atmosphere. Members of both chambers of Congress presided over the welcoming ceremony, marking the official start of the event.

11点50分，副总统万斯率先完成宣誓仪式。随后，在12点整，新任总统特朗普正式宣誓就职，标志着他成为美国总统的历史性时刻。宣誓仪式结束后，特朗普发表了热情洋溢的就职演讲，阐述新一届政府的目标与愿景。

During his speech, he mentioned that humanity's future lies on Mars. As the cameras cut to Elon Musk, they captured a bright, beaming smile on his face—an image that instantly energized the atmosphere. The crowd erupted into enthusiastic applause, cheering for the bold and inspiring vision.

The inauguration watch luncheon, organized by local Trump supporters, was held at Fumi Restaurant in Duluth, a popular area for the Chinese community in the Atlanta region. The event was initiated by Kathy Zhang and made possible with the strong support of Lily Zhang, Lu Tong, Peiqing Shen, and others.

Dr. Fong’s speech was pragmatic and thoughtful, showcasing his unwavering commitment to the country, the party, and his community. His message resonated deeply, earning strong applause from the audience.

Ms. Yingzhe Duan, a Chinese-American doctor of traditional medicine, also took the stage to speak. She said it was an emotional and inspiring day, and when the national anthem played, she couldn’t help but tear up. The journey of supporting Donald Trump has been full of challenges and hardships, but she expressed pride that they had made it this far.

She also announced her intention to run for State Representative in 2026, with her opponent being a Democrat—though in her view, the term “extreme radical” might be more accurate. She described today as the starting point of a difficult journey, like climbing a steep mountain, but affirmed that she will give it her all and stay true to her mission.

Ms. Duan shared that both Matt Reeves and Dr. Fong, who were present at the event, are dear friends and role models. “We’ve supported them in the past,” she said, “and I believe they will stand with me as I begin my campaign.” She also expressed her hope that everyone present today will continue to support her on this path.
