A Thank-You Letter to First Step Team from The Salvation Army

At the beginning of the new year,  First Step Team received a warm thank-you letter from The Salvation Army.
新年伊始，明日之光First Step团队收到了救世军寄来的感谢信。

“There had been the various volunteers during the last season, individuals and groups. Your group was the most impressive volunteer group to me. Not just quantity (times, peoples, money raised, generations, etc) but also quality (attitude, smile, kindness, music, dance, etc). I can't list all of them.” These are the words of The Salvation Army’s volunteer liaison Lt. Ohsang Kwon. He was so impressed by our team that he wrote a thank-you letter praising our team.
“刚过去的节日季有各种各样的志愿者，有个人也有团体。对我来说，你们的团队是让人印象最深刻的志愿者组织。不仅仅是数量（时间、人群、筹集的资金、代际等），还有高质量（态度、微笑、友善、音乐、舞蹈等）。我无法一一列举。” 这是救世军志愿者联络员权悟尚中尉的话。他对我们的团队印象深刻，因此写了一封感谢信赞扬我们的团队。

Here are a couple of video clips showing some of our team members at work: Chloe and Esther teamed up to sing and a kind gentleman donated and delighted Sophia by joining her dancing. Other musicians include Anna, Annie, and Mathew.

Lt. Kwon said: “I am sending this to express my gratitude to you and your amazing group, First Step Team, although this is not enough.” He even included some pictures that he took himself of our team, one being a selfie so that he is in it too.

We are grateful to The Salvation Army for the opportunity to serve the society during the holiday season and to Lt. Kwon for the kind words!
