First Step 2024 Sims Lake Park Cleanup/ Easter Celebration

用餐结束后，孩子们展开了一场令人兴奋的复活节彩蛋寻找活动。为增加游戏的趣味，组委会还隐藏了一些特大彩蛋。在欢声笑语中，孩子们开始在公园的每个角落寻找复活蛋。当一天结束时，我们确保将公园保持在原来的清洁状态，否则就背道而驰
First Step 2024 Sims Lake Park Cleanup/ Easter Celebration

On March 31, 2024, the air was filled with the sweet scent of spring blooms as my cousin's family and I, along with 20 other families from First Step, convened at Sims Lake Park. Approximately 70 of us gathered with a dual purpose: to clean up the park and to celebrate Easter.
As Easter Sunday unfolded, approximately 70 or more individuals, comprising both kids and parents, assembled for a park cleanup. Before we got down to business, there were stalls brimming with various goods, all contributing to fundraising efforts for the First Step program. Armed with grabbers, gloves, and trash bags, we set out to tackle the task at hand. Because of the park's extremely clean state with mostly biodegradable trash lying around, we took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and engage in lively conversation. After about an hour of work, we gathered for a communal lunch, featuring a diverse spread of delicious food contributed by participating families.
Following the meal, the younger members of our group embarked on an exhilarating Easter egg hunt. Amidst the laughter and excitement, they eagerly scoured the park for hidden treasures, including a select few oversized eggs that added an extra layer of thrill to the hunt. As the day drew to a close, we made sure to leave the park in pristine condition, as leaving the park worse than how it was would be counterproductive.
