Chinese Alliance of Real Estate Attends WWII Commemoration – Jewish Shanghai History Exhibition

今天2025年8月24日，亚特兰大市中心的 The Breman Museum 举办了一场意义深远的文化活动——二战纪念活动暨犹太上海历史回顾展。本次活动由 AJC（American Jewish Committee）、The Breman Museum、亚裔艺术联盟等机构联合主办，旨在回顾二战时期上海社会展现的人文情怀与历史担当。Today, 8/24/2025,a meaningful cultural event took place in downtown Atlanta — the WWII Commemoration and Jewish Shanghai History Exhibition. Jointly organized by the American Jewish Committee (AJC), The Breman Museum, and Asian American Arts Alliance, the event highlighted how Shanghai, during World War II, became a place of refuge for thousands of Jewish people fleeing Nazi persecution.

那段特殊的历史中，上海接纳了大批在纳粹迫害下走投无路的犹太人，成为他们的避风港，见证了跨越文化与种族的温暖与希望。This chapter of history stands as a testament to the city’s compassion and humanity across cultures.

房产联盟非常荣幸受邀参与此次活动。组织方代表 Tracy Xu、宋扬、Roger Zhao、林教授、冯金海为这场活动准备了很多精彩的环节。房产联盟的多位成员——李波臣、莉莉姐、Linda Yang、Leslie、文凯琪积极出席，与来自不同社区的嘉宾共同重温这段值得铭记的历史。Chinese Alliance of Real Estate was honored to be invited to this special occasion. Event organizers Tracy Xu, Song Yang, Roger Zhao, Professor Lin, and Jin Hai Feng warmly welcomed all the guests. Alliance members Bochen Li, Lily Zhang, Linda Yang, Leslie, and Kathy Wen attended the event, joining community leaders and friends in revisiting this extraordinary history.

除了历史展览，活动现场还上演了一场振奋人心的音乐演出。由宋扬老师带领的黄河合唱团，演唱了《黄河船夫曲》、《黄水谣》、《保卫黄河》等经典曲目，歌声恢宏激昂，唤起了与会者对民族精神与团结力量的共鸣。9月21日还将有一场更为盛大的音乐会，届时来自全美各地的 400 多位合唱团成员将共同演绎《黄河大合唱》，规模宏大，令人期待。In addition to the exhibition, the audience enjoyed a stirring performance by the Yellow River Choir, directed by Song Yang. The choir delivered powerful renditions of “Boatman’s Song,” “Yellow River Ballad,” and “Defend the Yellow River.” The music evoked strong emotions and reminded everyone of the enduring spirit of resilience and unity. Looking ahead, on September 21st, an even larger concert will be held, where over 400 choir members from across the United States will gather to present “The Yellow River Cantata” on a grand scale.

By participating in this commemoration and exhibition, alliance members not only deepened their understanding of the Jewish community’s history in Shanghai but also strengthened cultural connections and mutual appreciation with other groups. It was more than an exhibition — it was a moment of remembrance, cultural exchange, and emotional resonance that bridged time and heritage.
